In a nutshell, here’s how the program works:
Fund Resources provides all the planning and promotional materials plus all supplies AT NO CHARGE.
- Announcement Flyer & Money Envelope for each student
- Posters to advertise the program
- Gifts Bags - with To/From labels, 4 sizes
- Shopping Bags for each student
- Planning Guide & Instruction Booklet
The gift merchandise is provided ON CONSIGNMENT (you pay only for the items not returned to us.)
Gifts are priced to sell to the children from $.10 to $15.00, with most of the selection in the $1.00 to $3.00 range.
Using our suggested retail prices, your organization can choose to make either 25%, 15% or 10% profit.
Fund Resources pays the postage both ways: to mail the boxes to you (using Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes we can track,) and for you to mail back the leftovers (we reimburse you for the cost of standard mail.)
All the school has to do is arrange for a few workers for the 3 - 5 days the "Shop" is usually open. You do NOT have to choose the selection or quantity (although your input is always welcome.) We pack a quantity of merchandise based on your enrollment, past sales info and our 48 years of experience providing the program. There’s no need to fret over whether you’ve ordered enough, etc. We pack far more merchandise than we expect you to use so that every child has a choice!
We have been working with DODDS (Dept. of Defense Schools), ALASKA and HAWAII schools, plus schools in GUAM, VIRGIN ISLANDS and PUERTO RICO, since 1986 so we have extensive experience in working with overseas communities. We know how to provide proper service to you. We understand the uncertainty of mail delivery, etc. so we plan for enough mailing time and pack well!
